Course Outline

This course is designed for those shooters who are comfortable around their handgun and have a strong knowledge and understanding on how to safely use it. Students will learn how to move and shoot in a real world environment with a focus on becoming better with controlling their firearm for faster follow-up shots and further diagnose any issues. Students will also get a basic understanding of shooting a stage and how to stage prep for competition based shooting.

Equipment Required

  • Reliable handgun
  • 3 functional magazines
  • Minimum 1 magazine pouch
  • Outer waistband (OWB) or inner waistband (IWB) style holster
  • Belt must be able to support either system
  • Eye and ear protection
  • 700 rounds of ammunition
  • Appropriate range clothing (we will train in the rain or sun)
  • Handgun cleaning equipment
